CITYX Venice Italian Virtual Pavilion

Our Venice project is a collaboration between noroof's first employee, Kristin Washco (currently pursuing a Ph.D.), filmmaker Joan Grossman, and the co-founders of noroof, Scott Oliver and Margarita McGrath. Our short film depicts noroof's approach to design as a story circle.

The concept arose as we free-associated on the question: What is an idea? This led us to a mash-up of the four corners of design (speculation, knowledge, building, design), and the story circle, a structure used in screenwriting.

An idea (about an idea) considers how design happens.
